PayPoint extends its bill payment service on the Romanian market by signing partnerships with Allianz Tiriac, ENEL, E.ON Gaz Romania and E.ON Moldova Furnizare. In the same time, the company diversify its electronic recharge service, extending the contract with UPC for Focus Sat digital tv channel and the contract with Zapp for prepaid new services.

PayPoint , a leading distributor of telecom prepaid services through its subsidiary Pay Store, has launched a national service for the electronic payment of household bills. This is the first multi client, purpose-built network of its kind to be active in Romania. The service has been live now for two months over which time it has been tested thoroughly in the local market. As of now, customers of Romtelecom, Distrigaz Sud, UPC and Zapp can pay their bills at local food stores and other retailers across the country where they see the distinctive yellow and purple PayPoint sign.

Transaction volume of British group PayPoint, which facilitate the cash and on line payments, increased with 22% on financial year ended at 30 march.

Starting April this year, Saatchi&Saatchi PR has been chosen the public relations agency for PayPoint in Romania, following a pitch where another three agencies have participated.
