PayPoint is the more convenient way to pay your household bills, recharge your mobile phone and make other payments in cash, at authorised local stores near where you live. Instead of maybe having to travel across the city or even go to a payment office in another town to pay your utility bills, you can simply pay them at the same time as you shop for food where you see the distinctive yellow and blue PayPoint sign.

We currently accept bill payments for Romtelecom, UPC, Zapp, Distrigaz Sud, E.ON  Gaz Romania, E.ON Gaz Distributie, E.ON Moldova and Enel but as in the UK where customers of every energy, water and telecoms company can pay at PayPoint, we hope to be able to offer a much wider range of payment options in the near future. And as well as paying your bills, you can also recharge your Vodafone, Orange, Cosmote and Zapp mobile phone electronically at official fixed prices, if you are a user of prepaid service for DTH (Direct-to-Home) can can recharge  your Focus Sat card. You can also buy from a range of phone cards from EasyComm, Nobel, UPC or Worldtelecom (Number one).

At present there are around 1,500 authorised PayPoint retail outlets in Bucharest and all over the country, where you can make payments or recharge your mobile. However, the PayPoint network is expanding continuously into other areas, with the aim of becoming a truly national service.

These are located in selected local food stores, mini-markets, supermarkets and some petrol stations, carefully chosen for their convenient locations, long opening hours and friendly service. Just tell the retailer what payment you want to make, hand your bar-coded bill to the retailer with your payment and he does the rest. You get a receipt for every payment you make, and your customer account is credited the next working day.
